Basic Watch Shapes
Round
The most common shape. Round cases evolved from pocket watches, which evolved from tower clocks. It is believed that the watch's hands are easiest to read on a round dial.
CB205 Gold
The least common shape. Tonneau, which means barrel shaped, is more stylized than a rectangle. Tonneau gives a retro feel that connotes a sense of individual style. Tonneau shaped watches are sleek and fit well under a sleeve.
NNP49 Black
Used to be a common shape for dress watch. However, in recent years, Rectangle shaped watch are also common for other type of watches, even sporty watch which traditionally is round in shape.
EK1001 Pink
Like rectangle shape, square face is often used for dress watches. A well designed square watch is open and bold.
